其實是矽膠隔熱手套!!
IT is silicon thermal-resistant gloves!!
這個是食品級無毒環保的矽膠做成的,看起來像玩具,
用起來很實用,就像手套一樣,比一般鍋夾碗夾方便多
了,戴上後直接拿飯鍋,湯鍋,微波爐以及拿烤盤都沒
問題,因為這個矽膠材質耐熱溫度竟然可以達到230
度!!,所以去年在日本秋葉原的家電大賣場,看到很多
做成碗或烤盤,直接用在微波爐或烤箱, 當時乍看之
下, 嚇了一跳!因為,就跟一般橡膠橡皮筋一樣,軟軟
的,心想一烤會不會就發出橡膠燃燒的臭味,後來
IKEA也賣很多這樣的相關產品,而且為了收納方便,還設計成摺疊式,於是折疊碗,折疊鍋,折疊盆,折疊
水桶...真的是很節省空間,佩服日本人真的超會收納
的, 而像IKEA這麼大的歐洲國際公司,心想應該也不
會拿消費者生命開玩笑,不過至今,看到這個摸到這個
矽膠,腦袋裡還是不由自主會產生燃燒橡膠發出惡臭
這樣的聯想...還是很難克服心裡的障礙...
It may look like a toy. Yet, it's a non-toxic and ECO friendly product,and it's made from silicon. This material's heat resistant can reach up to 230℃(Celsius). So, It's very handy and practical than that of the old kitchen wares, for example, Pot handle, clamps etc. You can wear silicon gloves as regular gloves, and hold the hot dishes, a baking tray, a hot pot out of the microwave without getting burnt.
These silicon dishes, and silicon kitchen wares/utensils were getting popular in most of the shopping malls at Akihabara Tokyo.
Now days, you can find lots of silicon products in the IKEA, such as folding bowls, folding pots, folding buckets etc. These products which allows to be folded into a minimum shape and put in the cabinet. It saves a lot of space in the kitchen, and The plastic can be heated to boiling point without any problem.

我們開發第二代月光台燈時,就想到用矽膠柔軟可以
折疊的特性,節省空間,方便運輸,而且像皮球一樣可
以恢復形狀,於是開發出矽膠燈罩,而且透過矽膠混光
,不僅消除了LED刺眼的光芒,甚至發出更柔和的燈光.
Early days the spherical lampshades were made from glass in the market,but it is easy to break. Later the materials were changed to plastic PC or PE.
Yet, it takes a large of space in transportation or in a storage space.
Therefore, we use silicon as the lampshade when we developed our 2nd generation Moonlight ball lamp for its characteristics of easy to transport and folds for space-saving. Silicon lampshade not only could eliminates the glare of LED but also providing the soft lighting.

That's the reason, I think, why they use is as a floor light in Japan. There are some air inside the spherical lampshade, if you need to get air to survive in case of fire when you crawl on the floor. It helps to fight for your life.
